Research & Analytics has been a ‘way of work’ at Avtar, ever since its inception. The Research & Analytics division periodically conducts empirical research on diversity & inclusion in the corporate world, gender diversity being an important area of focus.
From generational competence of professionals to career intentionality of Indian professionals to economic centeredness of Indian women, every independent research by Avtar has had strong socio-business implications. The research techniques include online and off-line surveys, qualitative research technique modes like focus group discussions and interviews of subject matter experts.
Every year, Avtar publishes an annual research report titled the ‘VIEWPORT’. VIEWPORT presents the findings and key research insights of the study-in-focus for the year. VIEWPORTs have evolved with time and have addressed a broad spectrum of workforce diversity dimensions and needs like Career Enablers, Flexible Working, Career Intentionality, Economic centeredness, Women in Sales and Maternity Management.
